A very enjoyable 50 minutes or so. With Alasdair, it's always a good listen. Thanks for sharing

Gold is not an investment. It is insurance.

Either the government prints, and/or it institutes an energy and/or "pandemic" lockdown. Same thing they did in 2019 when they bailed out the gambling Wall Street banks and suppressed inflation by simultaneously initiating a pandemic lockdown to prevent velocity of all that money causing inflation. Soon as they stopped the economy, oil and gold and silver dropped to zero. Briefly. Panicking weak hands out so the banksters could pick up oil and gold and silver at the lowest prices in decades. Reason emergency lockdown laws are in place through 2032. Like a Bugsy Seigel episode: Same thieves, different context. ( "Turn off this guy's stablecoin wallet" )

Spot On ........It must be ' Nailed On ' that they'll print ( Inflate or Die ) - and the rest of the theft and robbery will doubtless move along on as surely as night follows day ..??

Excellent video and I think most of us here get it. I would be very keen to hear about ways to mitigate the impending troubles- for somebody not currently in any property and a reasonable build of wealth for their middle years is Alasdair suggesting we go all in on Gold? Im in at 20% Gold now with 40% cash and 40% in, what I believe are solid, stocks. A collapse of fiat is indeed scary, but holding significant gold is still a risk. Even talk of keeping it in particular vaults and jurisdictions, which. may be abroad from home. Transporting it across borders, being able to sell or convert to other metals could be monitored/ regulated, Nothing is off the cards with the current (certainly US) governments. One US trader I purchased from said he was 80% into Au, respect but a big wow...

For the first time that I can recall, Alasdair allows a glimpse of his view about miners in a broad market crash. Thank you sir for those last few minutes of the interview.
