I haven't been to UK since 92', (in NZ),and sorry to see the deterioration of England especially, and so rapidly. Magna Carta, rule of law, improving individual freedoms Industrial Revolution, raising living standards. If you read Michael Hart's The 100 most influential people in history, the British are well represented with positive influence.

And so many in the developing world have been, and are keen to move to the Anglo-sphere for a better life.

I fear for how things will play out now. The good times seem to be disappearing.

Absolutely bang on, yet again Alasdair The autumn statement is going to flash up all sorts of failings. I wonder who will get the blame 🤔. I bet it's not them🤦🏻‍♂️

Another topic, sorry. Is it correcte that the Chinese Banks offer US dollars with the same interest rate as the bonds rate in the VS.

Why are they doing this.

Thanks Alastair, I’ve got a question I’m hoping you can help with (I know I've asked it before, before anyone moans)

The impending currency crisis means that the sensible thing is to get out of credit and into real money. However, mining stocks appear ready for takeoff. My question is will mining stocks collapse along with all other equities when the currency crisis happens or will they be safe?

Im asking as I feel I should be in mining stocks but am fearful of them crashing during the currency crisis.

Any thoughts would be gratefully received.

The UK is in a death spiral of the wealthy it appears.
