Alistair, I really respect you for your willingness to share your knowledge with others. The question you answered about trusts vs currency would have put me off from ever wanting to do what you do ever again. People don’t get it. I believe that the ones who do get it become subscribers. I have been trying to reach my daughter, she has a degree in Economics as do I, but I’m afraid the 20+ years from when I graduated and she did had a deleterious effect on education in general. At 78 I am almost out of credit systems and expect to be finished by the end of the year. I have already told her I will feed her and hers, but won’t have enough to give her money to clear her involvement in credit.

If I can’t educate her, I don’t have hope for people who have less understanding. I admire you!

Joe - I really feel for you where your daughter is concerned as I am in the self-same situation with my own daughter ( 39 ) and one of her older brothers ( 43 ) . It's not just thoughts on economics and ' Sound Money ' that fall's on deaf ears - but pretty much everything else as well , from Vaccines through to Climate Change / Fossil Fuels/ Ukraine / The Middle East / Geo-Politics - you name it . I've now pretty much given up trying to get through to those who know everything about nothing of consequence & nothing about everything of consequence. .

It's proved a fruitless up hill struggle / waste of time - such that I've concluded that they'll just

have to take their own path's which will doubtless mean that the " Penny Will Drop " and they'll finally awaken when it's too late in the day to save themselves - We''ll See .

Thank you Alasdair - an excellent talk and summary of much of your educational material on your substack. Yet another potential gathering storm cloud, which I don't believe you have yet mentioned, is put forward in this recent Youtube video by Alex Krainer: a default on its debts by Ukraine, which he predicts may come within weeks and cause financial turmoil in the UK in particular.: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yynXt6T3gdw&t=2686s Wild prophecy of doom or not, it seems to me only to add to your thesis.

Another subscriber has drawn my attention to this. As our Aussie friends would say, time to crap or get off the pot!

Hello Ian - I am that other subscriber Alasdair mentions below . ' Mitch ' and I had been conversing about this for a few days before I flagged it up to ' AM ' . I don't know whether you just happened across this recent Alex Krainer interview or if you're a long-time follower of everything Alex post's . I've subscribed to him for quite a while and would recommend anyone one who isn't already a subscriber to sign up - in the same way as I try and steer as many people that I can toward ' Macleod Finance ' .....For peerless deadly accurate content ..etc .

Hi Alasdair. Very informative Q&A. Several nuggets of insight that you usually don’t get to cover in your 30 minute interviews. I really appreciated the discussion of property. Given the issues with the USA and western fiat economies, have you given any thought to what countries (besides China and Russia) might fare better than most? Or asked another way, if you were 20 years old, where would you go?

In Australia it is pronounced "Barby". More formally it is spelt Barbeque, Alasdair :-)

Thanks Alasdair, for that 'effortless' and supremely articulate exposition of the current financial reality.

They don't get it and never will. Similarly when I tell people my Dad's house sold for the same money over a 67 year period (4 times) they are stunned. When I explain to them that it was 11,000 ounces of silver, it was only that silver was 1 dollar in 1969 and 40 dollars CAD in the last couple of years. They don't get it and never will. I feel sorry for Alasdair preaching to such a crowd that are just unwilling to

learn something new, something of vital importance.

Nearly all of them were willing to learn. It's the people who weren't there who will never get it

Excellent oration ( as expected ) . Hope your audience all fully took on board the golden nuggets of information you imparted , and swiftly realised how close we all are to ' The End Game ' - sufficient enough to waste no further time in acquiring the only ' Sound Money ' there's ever been .

Alasdair, I hope you don't mind, but I've submitted your name to a guy in the States that gets it and has a pretty wide audience, particularly with ex-military personnel. He just interviewed Donald Trump, so you know he takes things seriously. His name is Shawn Ryan. If you get an invite from him, please consider giving him some of your time. Thanks for everything.
