I feel I am in the company I want to be in, in the same trench with folks who do not shy away speaking the truth. My savings in physical have recently paid for a used tractor. May I ask how you were able to buy your used tractor without touching your physical? I know in India that people commonly use their physical as collateral for loans, but, then, of course, one has a loan. I would imagine that is what you must have done? It seems like a logical step as the credit markets implode.
A perfect example of the true state of our civilization that talks endlessly of the "rule of law". We experience this phenomenon more and more frequently as our economy becomes more and more concentrated. Call for help and, if you are lucky enough to reach a human, very quickly you find that you have driven just off the script and the ability to get anything done evaporates.
I just wonder what it will be like if one day the internet has problems - real or fabricated - what will we do when no one can answer the phone at our bank that we have not physically visited in years. Or if the branch is still open, what will we do when they tell us the connectivity to the banks system is not working and therefore there is no record of you having any "money" with the bank. How many people even bother to keep track of an up to date Statement and just what is the legal standing of that Statement...
Someone will immediatly say, "Bitcoin fixes that"...does it ? Despite all, trust lies at the foundation of every social system. Perhaps money itself is a substantiation of TRUST.
In Australia we have a pension system called superannuation. Either run or administered by a fund or you can choose to manage it yourself. When I tried to go self managed 2.5 years ago it took over 6 months and multiple interactions just get my own funds released to me. And no you cannot even talk to a human being you have log a ticket via their website and wait up to 5 business days for a response and every time you need to interact one issue even if you got a crap answer the clock starts over. It was excruciating
This is phenomenal. It proves that the work of David Rogers Webb is 100% correct. Beyond the broker no one knows who is the owner of the contract or stocks and bonds.
That sounded so painful. They should really publish a guide on how to do it but then I guess obfuscation and delay is part of the strategy to keep the shine stuff in the hole
