Another great interview. Just an addition, buying gold is a part of Indian culture. We keep buying over generations and never sell it except exceptional emergencies. Any typical household in India may not have a four wheeler only 2 wheeler but most probably that hoisehold will certainly have few ounces of gold.
And one more interesting part, there is an unsaid rule no one dare to break in india, all gold is considered to be owned by ladies of family, you can not sell without their permission. 😀 so the real money is owned by women in India.
