Always an interesting listen Alasdair. By the way I slightly disagree with you on one point whereby you say they "those guy are a lot cleverer than you". I would say that they are "as" clever as you. Don't sell yourself short although I know you're just being modest. As Yogi bear would say, "you're smarter than the average bear Booboo"

I would be interested in hearing Alasdair's opinion on the legacy gold-silver ratio (1-16) and whether he believes if it will eventually hold in the future. One of the primary tools for value increase in precious metals is knowing when to swap out holdings of gold for silver or vice-versa. Depending on premiums, gains in value can be quite substantial.

People talk a lot about who has big debt but we talk much less about who are the owner of these big debt, for example, I heard that a lot of owners of the canadien debt are hedgefound? Is it right? Is it the same in the US? What are the proportion?
