Hi Alasdair, in various posts you've spoken about the current equities bubble that is due to implode and fall. My question is do you think all equities will fall when the bubble bursts? Specifically would mining shares fall along with all other shares?

Hopefully you'll see this, thank you for your ongoing insight.

For what it's worth and having been a very long suffering owner of mining stocks for the past 15 x years or so ...etc . They've been down and scraping the bottom for almost the entirety of the time I've owned them - to the point that I couldn't envisage anything that could drive them even further down ( But they will doubtless get hammered again )

BUT ' the glimmer of hope and positivity is that they'll rocket skyward like a scalded cat soon after the ' Event ' has passed - and up to currently unimaginable levels . I've lost probably half of my then high 6 x figure investment but see no point in selling as the potential upside can be so dramatic + I've got plenty of Physical tucked away and see the Stocks as the out and out speculation they've thus far so amply proved to be .

Yes, I've had a message from that account too but didn't open it.

Alasdair you are an absolute treasure. I never miss anything you write or say. I have a question perhaps only you have the depth to answer:

If bimetallism doesn’t work, because of Gresham’s law, why is silver ever considered a monetary metal?

I know that Alasdair doesn't see a new bi-metallic standard coming along anytime soon ,

but this is the one thing that I hope he's wrong about ( Fat Chance probably - he's never wrong ) . There have been plenty examples of bi-metallic systems in the past and for my part very much hope that it will come again .

Excellent as ever - it's a shame this message can't be spread much wider - but then I'd have serious doubts ( on recent & past evidence ) whether the vast majority of our fellow bretheren have the mental capacity to recognise facts and truth even when painted in capital letters on a board which is glued to the end of their nose's .
