Well, actually, if you must know, I am of the Austrian persuasion, speaking economically; and I have indeed listened to the video. From your earlier comment it would seem you're in the UK. I believe both the UK and the EU are screwed, even more so than the US. I think Trump sees this, and is trying to unscrew us over here. I read/watch a large number of disparaging opinions about Trump. Perhaps they are deserved, but I would point out that he doesn't even have his cabinet in place yet. A great deal of his comments are aimed domestically.
Time will tell, to repeat myself. You should worry more about Starmer, I think. He will have a greater impact on you than Trump, at least for the foreseeable future.
