Awesome Alasdair. I'd really love to hear your further thoughts on Trump's economic policies and his team led by Dimon, Kudlow and Laffer!??! The idea of massive tariffs is surely insane, the bond market idiocy. Surely it will have the same impact on the dollar that Labour's policies will have on sterling. As for the policies of McKinley in the late 19th Century, how could one even draw any comparisons given current debt and deficits, global geopolitics, impending end of dollar reserve and lack of any forced fiscal rectitude that a gold standard would impose?

Excellent Alasdair.
