I will hazard a guess that an equity crash prior to January will be to Trump's benefit, to tie in to your earlier posting. Personally, I've been expecting a crash for a while; but then, I'm just a stopped clock. :-)

Tick ...Tick ...Tick ...STOP ..!! - I too am , " Just a Stopped Clock " - so very much a ' Kindred Spirit' and am with you on this . I'd just like the band-aid to be ripped off in one fell swoop so that we can all take the pain and then re-group and get on with such live's as we're left with

rather than continue on down this excrutiating ' Water Torture " route ad-infinitum .

And for these kind of articles I have a subscription so I understand a bit what is going on in financial markets better so I can make better decisions which allocations to take for my pension insurance. Thank you for that Alasdair .

I want to clarify my earlier comment. I meant that it would be to Trump's benefit initially because it would be very difficult to blame him for the crash. It may well then become an albatross around his neck, and may well hinder his planned economic moves.

It will NOT be to our benefit; not in the US or anywhere else. It may well rival the 1930's, especially if we get Smoot-Hawley 2.0. The best I hope for is a lessening of global tensions and no new wars.

We shall see.

I voted for Trump but I would not argue that he isn't as much responsible for our predicament as Biden and the lefties. He warp speeded the so-called vaccine and treated almost everyone to an extended paid vacation. His spending was every bit as bad as Biden's. IMO

I don't know if anything can be blamed on Harris. What did she do? I do agree that most of the people are in for some difficult sledding.

Harris went along with everything Biden, or certainly his handlers, dished out so she has to take responsibility. She can't say it's nothing to do with her. It's just the same over here with our Chancellor, she can't say she had no idea how bad our economy is. Her previous position was Shadow Chancellor so she must've known. If we all did and we are not in government then she knew fine but said nothing. It's all just a game to them. We suffer whilst they play party politics.

' Kamala ' is as thick as a lorry load of ' Short Planks ' so how ever she , let alone that walking brain dead cadaver Biden were ever chosen by the Deep State in the first place beats me . She didn't go along with everything Biden said - she simply

read off of the same tele-prompter or set of Cue Cards as were shoved in front of Joe but concocted by one of his handler's - she simply blurted out the same old bullshit , just a day or two later .

I don't think she'll be there for much longer though. Once they've gone through the August reality show conference thing she'll have a "medical episode" and have to stand down. In will come HC and BO although not necessarily in that order. Through some "magic" DT will get pipped to the post. BO will pull out in late Jan and voila HC will be in charge. If that happens, stand back and watch the fireworks. I wonder what odds I would get down the bookies for this mad scenario 🤔 Gotta be worth a fiver🤣

I voted for Trump twice, myself. I would say his big mistake was being convinced to declare a state of emergency. That was what allowed (well, gave legal authority) for State governors to declare the lockdowns. My understanding is the MRNA shots were in development since 2008. They started vaccine development back when the first COVID hit in 2004. Corona viruses themselves have been infecting people for some time, with 8 (IIRC) varieties being endemic; generally causing colds.

Harris herself has a record as a prosecutor in California, which should give people pause. I agree that Trump doesn't qualify as a fiscal conservative, but when all you have is dirty laundry and you need a shirt.....

I too voted for Trump, and will probably vote for him again. However, I live in a safe state, so I may take the opportunity to vote for RFK.

Trump is a really interesting case. There are so many unknowns I can only boil it down to broad themes: Harris will continue to suppress production. Trump generally favors promotion of production. Harris generally favors War. Trump generally will favor peace. Harris generally favors or is indifferent to social disorder. Trump favors social order.

So in my thinking the issues boils down to general themes not specific policies.

YES - Harris is a complete non starter to vote for on multiple front's and ' DJT ' whilst shrewd & clever has many skeletons in his closet & questions to answer- not least for the ' Warp Speed ' lockdown & vaccine roll out + the fact that he's happy to " Kiss the Ring " of that evil genocidal sub-human scumbag - ' Bibi '.

I have actually been connected to RFK Jnr via his ' Childrens Health Defence '

organisation for some 25 - 30 + years & counting , and like you ( If I were a U.S. Voter ) , would vote for him without a 2nd thought as for me he ticks all of the boxes and I know him to be a man of absoloute truth & integrity . My one reservation and it's a huge one ( Is like ' DJT ' ) - is in his seemingly inexplicable and - un-wavering support for AIPAC and the Jewish Lobby in the USA and for the horrific war crimes that the Zionists are perpetrating against the Palestinians ...in plain site on an hourly / daily basis . This to me is un-forgivable on both DJT's and RFK's part .. and comes from someone who within his veins partly runs the blood of the ( Hebrew ) - ' Tribe of Gad ' , so I'm not some Jew Hating Islamist / Anti - Semite . ' IF ' iIsee evil squarely in front of me , then I'll call out who ever is behind it without fear or favour and never mind their creed , colour or religion ....I'ts as simple as that - End Of .

Edmund - You are partially ( but nowhere near fully ) correct per the back history

of the alleged Pandemic / Lockdowns / Viruses & Vaccines ( MRNA or otherwise ) .

' IF ' you want ' Chapter & Verse ' and have your eyes wrought fully open , then ask

Alasdair to send me your E.Mail Address ( I don't do Social Media ) and I'll get a load of stuff over to you which will boggle your mind and make you question most everything you've ever been told as historical fact - especially via successive government's , the media and the educational system - Simon .

Stanley - Spot On ..!! . ' Sleepy Joe ' is / was simply the Part 2. to Trump's Part 1. .

I think that the mere fact that she's able to draw breath is pretty much all the blame you

need to lay on ' Kamala ' + by adjunct her parent's for the torrid night of passion that led to her very creation in the first place . " A Pox on all of their Houses's " .

As alway's " The Great Un-Washed " and un-questioning masses will for sure put the blame squarely on Biden's shoulders - but anyone whose got a handful of functioning grey cells will clearly see that ' DJT ' and the damaging attempted trade-war he instigated against the Chinese laid the foundation of much of what we're all seeing now & that Biden - crooked shit bag that he surely is , simply added fuel to the already well alight flames .

This all said , I'd take ' DJT ' and his Questionable Economics / Zionist Leanings against

Biden / Harris / Clinton / Obama ...or any other Satanistic ' Demonrat Creature of the Night ' that the deep state try to lever into the top job . Fingers Crossed / Everything Crossed ..!!
