I think the kite flying over military conscription in the UK is either to test public opinion or to soften it up. I hope you are right about the younger generation...
It is important to have independent voices to share their insights what is actually going on. This paid service is more than welcome in the years ahead so thank you for sharing your insights with us Alaisdair.
You are doing your fellow humans a great service, Alasdair. Much appreciated - and thank you very much!
I thought the reported responses from the young to the military conscription kite were fascinating. They seemed to be having none of it. With regard to war, Clif High recently said, "Wars are organised by bankers. Battles are part of contention that will resolve themselves in a way unlike a war, which is always a negotiated settlement imposed by the banking authority when they have made enough money or they are tired of spending money on this particular activity. Wars don’t end on their own. Wars are guided to a conclusion by the bankers who are financing both sides. The conclusion always favors the bankers but not any of the participants in the war. Everybody gets fucked over by wars, except the bankers.”
Hopefully, the young generation of today are wiser to the game than ours was!
I have been reading your insightful and fact centric commentary for years, having happily subscribed to your sub.
Yourself and Jim Rickards who I have followed since the early 2010’s I am more than satisfied I receiving credible information that helps me to keep up with the machinations of the economy and the gross fiscal mismanagement to which we have been subject.
Thank you for taking the scab off of the putrid sore that is mainstream government fiscal management, now in decline, an even bigger thank you for the prescient advice in terms of economic outcomes to be anticipated, but most of all thank you for the extraordinary education you have given me with your outstanding writing in Gold Money Research these past years, I am buoyed and excited about the continued education I know that I will continue to receive weekly, or rather with each published article received from you… Multipolarity a new paradigm, fiscal responsibility and sovereignty returning… Kia Kaha from New Zealand
Thank you for your kind words.
